COMPANY OVERVIEW

Ezdan Holding Group, a Doha-based Public Shareholding Company listed on the Qatar Exchange, is one of the Gulf region's largest real estate developers by market capitalization, a major market player in the domestic real estate market and a pioneer provider of a wide spectrum of residential and commercial housing units.

Since its inception in 1993 as a limited liability company founded by H.H Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Al Thani and its conversion to a publicly traded company in 2007, and then to a holding group in 2012, the company, in addition to its core business of residential real estate development and with a view to achieve superior returns to shareholders, has actively pursued expansion into hotel and commercial malls ownership and management and has acquired strategic ownership shares in a number of Qatari shareholding companies.

Basic Operating Segments

The current principal activities of the Group and its subsidiaries are concentrated in three main sectors as follows:

• Real estate development sector specializing primarily in developing, owning, trading and renting of residential & commercial real estate and developing and managing shopping malls and commercial centers.
• Hospitality sector which includes management of hotels and hotel apartments and suites and restaurants with the current portfolio of the Group encompassing Ezdan hotel towers in Dafna area and Ezdan hotel in Al shamal road.
• Investment sector which includes investment activities in equities where the Group currently owns significant equity stakes across a variety of high-growth leading companies in various sectors including Banking, Healthcare, and Insurance.
