His Excellency Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani is a distinguished businessman and a notable figure in Qatar. He has significantly contributed to various sectors including social, health, commercial, and particularly the economic sphere. Notably, HE Sheikh Thani has played a crucial role in the growth of the real estate market through substantial development projects both domestically and regionally. He founded the Ezdan Holding Group in the 1960s, which has evolved through various stages and names to become a multi-disciplinary investment holding group with successful projects.
HE Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani is renowned among business leaders for his insightful leadership and strategic acumen. He is a pivotal figure in the banking industry, particularly noted for his influence in Islamic banking within Qatar.
Furthermore, HE Sheikh Thani is the principal shareholder of the Qatar Islamic Insurance Company, established in 1995 as one of the pioneering Takaful insurance companies in the region.
